Handsome Handwriting

We have started a new board in our room with "Handsome Handwriting". Each time we have a writing assignment - I will choose the best ones to go on our board. This Pig in a Wig activity was a practice round. We have been talking about realism and fantasy. We listed some things that happened in our story that we knew were fantasy. I had the students write a sentence about it. I think the pigs turned out great!

Come to Fine Arts Night tonight to support our Art and Music Program!

Come to my classroom at 6:00 pm to see your child's Art work. Directly after that you will go to the lunchroom to watch our Spring Music Program. The students have worked extremely hard in Art and Music to get ready for this event.I can't wait for you to see everything they have made! We have some very talented artists!! Congratulations to Ashton, Abby Grace and Emma for joining the 50 point AR club! They got to participate in the AR Walk of Fame on Friday.

Awesome Valentine's Boxes

I enjoyed getting to see everybody's boxes at our Valentine Exchange Party. Thank you for helping your child create their Valentine box at home. I hope you and your child had fun making these!

Board Appreciation

Some of my students made these cards for our Albertville School Board members for Board Appreciation. I thought they turned out perfect! The board members loved the cards our class made for them.

The eyes, nose, and mouth on these snowmen were made by using their finger prints.
